Edith Berry

Edith Berry:
studied under Edgar Whitney, one of the foremost watercolorists in the country. She has penned many scenes of Northampton Township, including Historic Homes of Northampton Township for the bicentennial celebration in 1976.

Best known for her work in watercolor, she is a realist who combines careful observation of her subject with the spontaneity of the demanding medium. In her words, “My goal is to create paintings that people will never tire of, paintings without hidden meanings. I am an artist-historian who records the environment via landscape, seascape, and townscape.”
