Gene Feller Gene Feller is a fine artist whose love of animals and nature enables him to capture the spirit of his subject matter so the viewer of his work can feel the mood of the animal or scene he has painted. Over the past twenty years he has illustrated more than 14 books and hundreds of magazine articles and has created artwork for advertising agencies and corporations including Highlights for Children and Outdoors Magazine. The artist now devotes his time to creating fine art, working primarily in oils and pastels as well as teaching art to adults and children which he has done for over twenty years. Feller's achievements include being a Signature Member of the Degas Pastel Society, numerous awards in local, regional and invitational shows and commissioned paintings for executives of major corporations such as M & M Mars and Chubb Insurance. Area newspapers and the local TV and radio stations have conducted interviews with him. Congratulations to Gene who just won an 'Honorable Mention' for his painting "Mechanic Street" done at the Plien Air Competition Paint Out ~ New Hope 2007. The painting can be seen at the gallery.
