Jamie Greenfield: Currently Master of Art on the Bunn Family Distinguished Teaching Chair at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey, Jamie Greenfield is an accomplished artist in many areas. Her professional background includes teaching, graphic design and illustration, and antique porcelain restoration. She works in various drawing media, painting, mixed media and sculpture. Her work has been included in over 35 exhibitions both solo and group, and is included in public as well as private collections. Jamie Greenfield holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Studio Art. She resides in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Artist’s Statement: From my first Life Drawing class as an undergraduate art student I have been devoted to the beauty and the challenges confronted when capturing the forms of the human body. Its potential as a subject is limitless, as with each change in view or position I am faced with an entirely new visual experience. There exists always a connection between the artist and the model; for me each pose becomes a shared experience, augmented by the play of light on forms and the inherent compositional structure dictated by the body in space.
