Marge Levine: a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in textile design. She is a member of the Degas Pastel Society, The Pastel Society of America, and a Signature member of the Pastel Society of Cape Cod. She is a recipient of many prizes for her work, not only in pastels but also other mediums. These mediums include etching, pen & ink, and colored pencils. Marge's etchings, colored pencil drawings and pastels take you to a whole new place. Each piece tells a story that is unique to the viewer. Marge captures that moment in nature when the sun and moon are in line and create a stillness that is breath-taking. She primarily enjoys capturing the fields of New Jersey to Maine, the scenery of Italy and England in her work. She has won awards in 2002 from the Northwest Pastel Society and from the Pastel Society of New Mexico in 2004. This past year she was honored to be accepted in up to eight pastel society shows through out the United States.
